  • The Hogue slip-on really improves the feel of a Glock for me.

Usually the only accessories I add the a gun are ones I feel improve performance:  tritium sights, Hogue grip (if available), a nice holster and, in the case of a Glock, the extended slide catch/release.
I found these custom slide covers at rockyourglock.com. Most of the designs are pretty cheesy but I'm in the Air Force and thought this was neat. I'm not saying it's less cheesy than the "Punisher" logo but at least this one has some significance for me. I think it looks cool so sue me.

On a more functional note, check out the sights. This is a set of XS 24/7 Big Dot sights. These things do take some getting used to but work really well. They tritium and large white front dot make for very fast acquisition. They may lack the precision of other systems but outshine the factory sights and work well for self defense. I have gotten good groups at 21-30 feet and highly recommend them.

This particular Glock 26 is a little rare, or at least I haven't seen  another one. The front strap is smooth instead of checkered. I've seen a few photos of them online but I've yet to see another in person. I guess the subcompacts were made this way for the first few years of production.

This is a High Noon Holsters Public Secret holster. If you want a really great in-the-waistband holster, buy this one or a similar model. These guys make fantastic products at reasonable prices.

    With a Glock 33-round magazine
One of the things I like about the Glock 26 is that it offers the most concealable package while still being able to use any Glock 9mm magazine.

While the Glock 26 makes a great concealed-carry pistol, if you want the utmost in concealablility without sacrificing accuracy, check out the SIG P238.

The SIG P238 (middle) looks down right anorexic next to the Glock (right).

Advantage Arms offers a really nice .22LR conversion kit for many Glock pistols. Just disassemble the pistol and replace the complete slide/barrel assembly with the Advantage Arms unit. Then insert the Advantage Arms magazine and the conversion is complete. The conversion has proven to be reliable and decently accurate for me. You may see my review here.
