This is my favorite general-purpose camera setup; a Nikon D90 with a Nikon 24mm f2.8 lens. It's a nice small package (for a DSLR) that takes good photographs. I've found it to be pretty versatile as well so I carry it most places and leave the rest of the gear at home. The 1.5x Nikon sensor crop factor puts this 24mm lens at about a 36mm equivalent on a 35mm camera.
