If you want a quick opinion on the P239, buy it. I think it's one of the three best 9mm pistols ever made for the average person with the others being the Glock 19 and HK P7. The P239 is small enough for most people to carry, large enough to shoot comfortably, accurate and mine has been 100% reliable. It's only drawback is a comparably small capacity for its size. Buy the Hogue wrap-around grips and a good holster and I seriously doubt you will regret purchasing this pistol. It's one of the few guns I own that I can't ever see myself parting with.
